Administrator, South Shore Dialysis Center
“We have a lot of great patients here, and it’s my job to make sure we’re providing them with the highest quality of care. It’s a real pleasure for me to be a part of their lives.”
Six months after we first opened the doors of South Shore Dialysis Center, Lisa Maggio joined us. Lisa has now been with South Shore Dialysis Center for over 29 years, as the Administrator for both facilities. In this role she manages the overall operations for nursing services and patient care at our dialysis facilities and assures the safe therapeutic nursing management of our End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients.
As the administrator of the two units, Lisa is committed to the growth or the organization and achievement of high quality care. “It’s crucial that we stay on top of the many changes in operations and health care regulations. I enforce the rules and regulations relative to the level of health care we provide, to ensure the quality of care and safety of all our patients.”
As the Administrator at South Shore Dialysis Center for nearly three decades, Lisa’s always believed that the units are providing a necessary service to the community. “We enable our patients to actively participate in their day-to-day lives, and share in the enjoyment of special occasions with their families. I’ve always found my position to be rewarding when I hear about the special times our patients talk about with their families. As I look back I’m happy to say I’ve met a lot of great patients and staff at South Shore Dialysis Center, and it’s a real pleasure to be part of their lives.”
Lisa has been the Administrator of South Shore Dialysis Center since 1984. She graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting.
